If you’ve stayed in a 5 star hotel recently, you might have wined, dined, and unwound in the company of our fabrics.

As a preferential supplier to many of the major hotel groups, our sumptuous prints and weaves help create the perfect setting from which to admire some of the world’s finest destinations.

We’re also bringing a little touch of extraordinary to ordinary homes everywhere, through our network of global independent retailers and distributors.

Artistry unlimited

For us, concept and artistry is king. Fine artists create our designs – not fabric designers – and they have the freedom to develop imaginative pieces, uninhibited by the technical constraints of textiles manufacturing.

We then use our years of experience and craftsmanship to turn these designs into magnificent printed or woven material.

The results are truly unique fabrics – richer and more intricate. They make inspiring backdrops for contemporary living.

Prestigious projects

We’re proud to have supplied fabrics to some high-profile people over the decades. Early clients included Liberty department store in London and Fortnum & Mason.

Edinburgh Weavers’ fabrics were used regularly by leading interior decorators during the 1930s and so our work found its way into ever-more glamorous settings, including:

  • the London flat of actor Cary Grant
  • no. 9 Downing Street
  • famous ships such as the Queen Mary
  • Claridges and The Savoy hotels
  • Tate Gallery.

Later in the 1950s and 60s, we were commissioned to produce textile hangings for the boxes at Royal Festival Hall as part of the Festival of Britain, as well as for the British Embassy in Washington.

Today, our fabrics continue to look at home in some really special places – we are a preferential supplier for many of the luxury hotel chains – as well as bringing a touch of splendor to residential properties worldwide through our global retail network.
